Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority visits Europe as part of marketing campaign

People looking to invest in property in the Middle East could be interested to hear that the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority is beginning its seven-stage tourism marketing tour of Europe. The organisation will be stopping off in six countries, taking in cities including London and Paris, as it looks to generate greater visitor numbers.Furthermore, the authority will be stopping off in Frankfurt, Milan, Dublin and Manchester ahead of the opening of ten new properties in the city by the year's end, Gulf News reported.Dayne Lim, product development director at ADTA, told the news provider that the tour will work in conjunction with a number of deals being offered."We are looking to work with the [European travel] trade to crystallise development of new, event-centric travel packages and promotions," he noted."By the end of this year, our target is two million, so we would seem to be very much on course to reach this given what we have in store in the third and fourth quarters."Earlier this week, Patrick Furness was named as the new executive chef of InterContinental Abu Dhabi following years of service elsewhere in the industry.
