Property investors with one eye on the markets in the Middle East could be among those encouraged by the recent comments of one expert.Dr Afnan Al Shuaiby, secretary-general and chief executive of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, has heralded the stable nature of Dubai as a place to do businesses.Speaking at the Invest Dubai event recently held in London, the expert described the emirate as a "safe haven for investment", the Khaleej Times reported.Fayha Sultan, marketing manager at Government of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, UK and Ireland, echoed these sentiments but warned investors that they will need to travel to Dubai in order to maximise their potential."The Arab culture lives on relationships. It is very important to see the person - to know the person," she commented."They are welcoming and hospitable. They don't like distance and cold relationships - so that's why being there and talking to the right people is very important."
