Dubai set to have world's 4 tallest residential towers

Dubai is soon to have four of the world's tallest residential tower blocks, boosting Dubai property investment opportunities. According to the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habit, the emirate will claim the title in less than 12 months time.It currently lists The Torch in Dubai, at 348 metres, as the tallest residential tower, with the HHHR Tower in third place after the Q1 Tower in Australia.However, Emirates 24/7 reported that by January 2012, the 414-metre Princess Tower in Dubai Marina will be the tallest in the world.Also in the list will be 23 Marina and Elite Residence, pushing The Torch down to fourth place.Darshan Hiranandani, director of Hircon International, which owns 23 Marina, said: "We have got the utility connections… we will have temporary power connection by next week. Snagging notice has been sent to investors and we expect residents to move into the apartments by August."What's more, Dubai Marina will be home to yet another huge residential tower in 2013, the news provider stated, namely the Pentominium, which will take the title at 516 metres high.
