Despite not seeing huge pay hikes over the past few years, workers in the emirates are still getting a good deal when it comes to pay, Emirates 24/7 has reported.
Research conducted by Bayt.com found that 42 per cent of professionals in the UAE have an average monthly income of between $3,001 and $8,001, compared to a regional average of 18 per cent across the Middle East.
"The UAE is rather competitive, as people have good remunerations and a very good level of living," Konstantina Sakellariou, partner, marketing and operations director at Stanton Chase told the news provider.
Professionals in Qatar and Kuwait were also found to be saving the most compared to other working professionals, with 36 per cent and 29 per cent of respondents stating that they are saving between 16 per cent and 75 per cent of their monthly income.
It follows a study by Hydrogen which rated the UAE as one of the ten best countries in the world to live and work.
