Jenson Button laid down an early marker at the Yas Marina circuit today with the fastest lap in practice for this weekend's Grand Prix. The McLaren driver is in Abu Dhabi with the rest of the Formula One contingent as they prepare to take part in the penultimate race of the season. After announcing his desire to finish the season on a high, Button edged Red Bull rival Mark Webber with a time of one minute 40.263 seconds, 0.126 seconds faster than the Aussie.Lewis Hamiton, Button's McLaren teammate, was third, while recently-crowned F1 champion Sebastian Vettel was forced to settle for fourth.Vettel was followed by Ferrari duo Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, who finished in fifth and sixth despite both spinning off the track. However, it was Williams driver Rubens Barrichello who led the most regrettable practice session, stalling just minutes after practice began and failing to completed a single lap.Tourism officials in the emirate recently said that customer service will be focused on to ensure visitors have an enjoyable experience when coming to watch the race.
