Dubai's hottest young designers have received help in getting their foot in the door and in setting the latest fashion trends as their designs have been included in a new store.United Designers has opened its first store in Mirdif City Centre mall in Dubai. The concept of the shop is to give support and exposure to young fashion designers in a boutique store where customers can buy their range. One young designer involved in the first stage of the project is Meher Mirchandani, part of label Meher & Riddhima. She said: "I trust the store will perform very well as it has an amazing team. The feedback on the collection has been great. We also have an exclusive range for United Designers which will not be available elsewhere."Each season will feature a new batch of young designers to give a new avenue where they can sell their clothes and accessories. The store will also take part in an initiative call UD Engage and link up with other creative arts with multimedia collaborations between the designers and painters, sculptors and digital artists from the emirate.
