RAK offers pro-business policies

The pro-business ethic of government policies in operation in Ras al Khaimah makes the emirate an ideal place to conduct business. That is according to one expert who claimed that the low level of bureaucracy in the region is the envy of most other countries. It has also been said that this and government efficiency are the key drivers behind the emirate's growth, which has been "rapid" in recent years.Giles Feiler, Middle East director for the Bank of Georgia, said he was "very impressed" by the policies during his visit to the Global Arab Business Meeting in RAK earlier this month, Albawaba reported. The expert singled RAK out as a leader in this sense and said of those running the country that "they mean business"."Bureaucracy here is at a minimum that Western governments can only wish to emulate. There is a genuine understanding for the needs of foreign investors, and the system is functioning very efficiently in providing compelling responses to these needs," he told the news provider.
