Dubai property values rise, Abu Dhabi's fall

Property investors looking to take on new projects in the Middle East could be among those interested in the recent findings of one industry report.The latest data compiled by REIDIN.com has shown that the value of residential real estate in Dubai is one the rise.However, while there is a positive trend emerging in the emirate, Abu Dhabi has seen values move in the opposite direction.According to the report, capital values for villas and apartments in Dubai increased by 1.48 per cent between August and September this year.By way of contrast, Abu Dhabi saw values fall by 0.47 per cent over the same period.Investors looking to make new purchases could be on the look-out for villas after the data revealed that price rises jumped at 1.69 per cent, compared to 1.28 per cent for flats.Meanwhile, the National Commercial Bank recently described Dubai as a "safe haven" for property investors.
