An Indian businessman has hinted at the future possibilities of Kenyan property investment by emerging as a major player in the country.Mukesh Ambani, with building firm Delta Corp, has been buying up property in Kenya and other East African countries recently and now has invested a total $40 million in Kenya, the Times of India reports.Indeed, his sale of a 21-storey building in Nairobi to the World Bank recently was the largest single property deal ever made in East Africa. It went for $23 million.According to the news provider, Mr Ambani could be looking towards the hospitality sector in the region as he already owns a share of India's third-biggest hotel chain, Oberoi Hotels. He is now reportedly setting up a hotel in Nairobi with Jaydev Mody from Delta Corp.Earlier this year, the World Bank called on investors to consider African countries, particularly in infrastructure, telecommunications and agriculture, as they are growing steadily.
