Dubai-based airline Emirates has announced that it will continue to expand its Airbus A380 network with the launch of a new route.
The world's largest operator of the A380 will operate a service to Hong Kong from October 1st.
Flying via Bangkok, the route marks the airline's 11th destination for the luxury carrier.
First class passengers can benefit from onboard shower spas and an onboard lounge serving canapes.
Private suites are also available to first class passengers.
Richard Jewsbury, Emirates' senior vice-president in commercial operations, Far East and Australasia, commented: "We are proud to be able to demonstrate our commitment to Hong Kong by putting our flagship aircraft on this route.
"Our passengers from Hong Kong now have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful service and comforts available on this aircraft and our passengers from Thailand will have the option of flying the A380 to either Dubai or Hong Kong."
There are currently 12 A380s in service with Emirates, but 78 are on order, suggesting to Dubai property investors that more routes are set to run in the future.
