More Buses Added to Deal with Rise in Metro Demand

Tecom is amongst the areas which are seeing a rise in connecting buses to help with growing passenger demand for the Dubai Metro. The Roads and Transport Authority has added more feeder buses to the F31 route, which runs between Mall of the Emirates and the Meadows. This provides free and easy access to the Metro’s Dubai Internet City stop for commuters located in and around the Tecom business district. As many as 107 feeder buses transport one million passengers on nearly fifty routes every month, a phenomenal rise in figures compared to just 20,000 people during the early months of the Metro network. Of course those staying in The First Group’s future Metro Central Hotel Apartments can enjoy the easiest access of all, without the need for a bus or taxi! The development occupies one of Tecom’s most coveted locations, right next to the Dubai Internet City Metro station.
