Super-Max, the world's second largest brand of razors, has relocated its global distribution headquarters from London to the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) in Dubai.
The new state-of-the-art facility in JAFZA has been built with an investment of over AED 100 million. Covering 50,000 square feet, Super-Max describes the development as "an ultra-modern logistics and warehousing facility". The company expect the building to be fully completed by 2011.
Ajay Bindroo, group chief executive of Wesley International, global distributor of Super-Max, said that Dubai is one of the most advantageous platforms for business and development in the world today.
"Encouraged by the city's dynamic initiatives, astute planning and remarkable insights, Super-Max has made a geographical leap to Dubai with the assurance to kindle unprecedented growth in this region and worldwide," he said.
In its 23 years of operation, JAFZA has grown from 19 companies in 1985 to over 6421 in 2009, making it one of the world's largest and fastest growing free zones.
