Offering brands such as BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, the firm sold more cars than ever before in its 20-year history at a time when the premium automotive market fell by 25 per cent, the Khaleej Times reported.
Arno Husselmann, general manager at the company, said that BMW models were particularly popular, with sales for the BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupé increasing by 78 per cent and those of the BMW 7 Series business up by 122 per cent. He said that the result confirmed Abu Dhabi as a key market for BMW Middle East.
In addition, Abu Dhabi Moors was once again among the top five Rolls-Royce dealers in the world in 2009.
The firm's recent expansion activities have included the opening of a new showroom and service centre in Al Ain. There also plans to add several new BMW models to the company portfolio this year.
