Switzerland's oldest private bank, Clariden Leu, has expanded its presence in the UAE with the opening of a new office in Abu Dhabi.
Adding to its existing Middle Eastern offices in Dubai and Cairo, the bank yesterday (November 3rd) opened the licensed representative office in Abu Dhabi in the presence of chief executive officer Hans Nutzi.
According to Clariden Leu, the office will provide local private banking clients with access to exclusive asset management services via Zurich and Singapore.
It added that the move highlights the importance of the Middle East to the company's growth strategy.
"Our presence in Abu Dhabi will help us to provide faster and more customised solutions to meet the needs of our Middle Eastern clients in the future," said Mr Nutzi. "We are glad to continuously underline our experience and our competence in this dynamic economic environment."
Clariden Leu has had representative offices in Dubai and Cairo since 2007 and 2008, respectively.
