Dubai-based international airline Emirates has officially reopened its Ras Al Khaimah sales office after extensive refurbishment.
The office was formally reopened with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, chief executive of Emirates Airline & Group, among other dignitaries.
Sheikh Ahmed highlighted Ras Al Khaimah as an important market for Emirates and stated that the refurbishment reflected the airline's commitment to offering the best customer service amenities.
"The Ras Al Khaimah sales office was one of the first to open in the UAE and has consistently played a key role in our strong sales from the emirate," he added.
Covering 112 sq m, the office features eight customer service desks dedicated to flight bookings, Emirates Holidays reservations and general customer enquiries.
The Ras Al Khaimah office was first opened in 1985, the same year that Emirates began operations.
Emirates currently has nine sales offices throughout the UAE.
