The Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) has confirmed plans to organise free medical check-ups for the local community.
In a statement, the body said the service would be offered tomorrow and Saturday (November 26th-27th) as it looked to honour its corporate social responsibilities, as well as mark the tenth anniversary of RAK FTZ and the 39th UAE National Day.
Routine and specific checks on health areas like blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index will be conducted by a team of doctors and support staff from RAK Hospital at Al Manar Mall.
"Over the last decade, we have remained committed to meet the health care needs of the people of Ras Al Khaimah," said Oussama El Omari, chief executive officer of RAK FTZ.
"The free medical camp is part of our commitment to the community, and we are thankful to our partners, RAK Hospital doctors, nurses and the dedicated members of the RAK FTZ for making this possible."
RAK FTZ is one of the fastest-growing free trade zones in the UAE.
