Ras Al Khaimah has finished hosting a special training programme aimed at helping graduates establish and run their own small businesses.
Ending last Tuesday (October 5th), the programme was run by the Ruwad Establshment, the National Human Resources Development and Employment Authority and the Saud bin Saqr Programme for Young Business Leaders.
Run for 50 trainees from across the UAE, the course offered advice on how to evaluate an enterprise, get the necessary licence, conduct a feasibility study and develop the enterprise.
Ruwad also confirmed that it will fund a number of attendees whose enterprises prove to have a high potential for success based on feasibility studies.
The body said its courses are organised in line with the directives of the Arab Human Resources Centre which has developed comprehensive guidelines on "Establishing SMEs" for graduates of Arabic educational colleges and institutes.
Ruwad's programme in Ras Al Khimah was the third of its kind to have been organised by the group following two similar courses in Sharjah and Khorfakkan.
