Those with property in UAE might be interested to hear the adequate supply of water is a priority for governments across the region.

In Abu Dhabi alone, investments in this area are expected to reach $271 billion (AED 995 billion) over the next five years, noted Water Solutions Middle East.

A conference is due to be held, which will see a number of speakers discussing ideas, offering insights into the latest advancements, as well as talking about strategic and technical challenges that the sector faces.

Patricia Mulroy, general manager of Nevada Water Authority, will be present at the event and explained sustainable liquid supplies often make use of the resources already available.

"While much of the focus is on the environmental implications of this change, the repercussions for water planners are significant because the availability of a safe, reliable water supply is the foundation for a prosperous society," she commented.

The Water Solutions Middle East Exhibition will be held between October 11th and 13th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
