Movenpick Hotels & Resorts has made five new appointments designed to help oversee the marketing of its properties in Dubai.
Headed by director of business development Guy Epsom and Andrew Hughes, director of sales-leisure, the new sales team also includes Kirsty Danks-Brown, Natalie Kurz and Chris El Khoury, specialising in travel, convention and corporate responsibilities respectively.
Mr Epsom praised the group of staff for its "cross-pollination of talent and managing.
"Faced with launching four uniquely different properties in a dynamic and challenging business environment, the clustered sales team will also boost efficiency and effectiveness, thereby increasing our competitive edge".
The group will be in charge of the corporate, PR, communications and leisure management tasks behind each of the four properties.
Developments scheduled to open next year include the Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel & Spa, which promises 397 luxurious rooms, a ballroom for 200 people and a health and fitness centre. All four properties are due to open in 2010.
