The Dubai branch of a London-based hospital has received a boost following the announcement of a deal to welcome more patients.
It was revealed this week that Moorfields Eye Hospital (MEH), the regional partner of the facility in the UK that goes by the same name, will now provide specialist care to a host of new users.
Following a direct settlement agreement with Saudi Arabian Insurance Company (Saico), the institution will be able to offer outpatient and day-case treatment to patients with medical cards issued by the group.
Dr Chris Canning, chief executive officer of MEH in Dubai said the partnership would lead to significant growth for the facility - news which may also interest those considering Dubai property investment.
"We aim to replicate the arrangement with Saico with other insurance providers in other GCC countries, as we extend our reach to the region," he added.
Earlier this month, MEH Dubai announced it had entered a new partnership with HAYATI Healthcare patient financing.
