Dubai event interest 'reflects economic growth'

There has been great interest in a new event based in Dubai that aims to showcase a number of business solutions, it has been advised.

In news that may interest those interested in Dubai property investment, a spokesman for the upcoming International Week of Transport and Logistics (SITL) explained the conference is generating a lot of attention.

Taking place between November 3rd and 5th, the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DICEC) will play host to representatives from a number of firms including DP World, Schenker, TNT and Al Futtaim Logistics.

Mohamad Bader-Eddin, show director for the conference organisers Reed Exhibitions Middle East, said the interest could be seen as reflective of growing trade and economic stability in the region.

"SITL Dubai 2009 will present an unrivalled opportunity for industry leaders to showcase their solutions and expertise, and will provide outstanding networking opportunities for those involved," he added.

Recent visitors to the DICEC have included representatives of the International Road Union, IAA and United Nations.
