The Dubai property investment sector will be at the top of the agenda next week when major players get together for Cityscape Dubai.
On October 5th the Cityscape Dubai event will launch and run until October 8th, supported by real estate investment company Meraas.
Rohan Marwaha, managing director of Cityscape, said: "We have been emphasising for some time now that the objectives for many developers exhibiting at Cityscape Dubai is to reassure existing and potential investors."
He added that while no-one would expect to witness the launch of a multi-billion dollar project, there would be a focus on the realistic completions of existing projects.
Mr Marwaha commented that although there had been a decline in participants at the event compared to 2008, it has maintained its quality in terms of the strength of attendees from international and regional markets.
This year is the eighth Cityscape Dubai, which claims to be the largest "international business-to-business real estate investment and development event". It will include conferences and a large exhibition alongside other business events with a social element. Cityscape Awards for Architecture in the Emerging Markets will once again form a key part of exhibition.
