There is expected to be strong demand for a new flight between Dubai and Djibouti in Africa a route that may be popular among those with property in UAE.
Flydubai is due to launch service FZ601 on September 1st and it will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The aircrafts are scheduled to depart from Dubai at 08:00 (local time) and arrive in Djibouti at 10:15 (local time).
Chief executive officer of the airline Ghaith Al Ghaith said the African location is an important trading destination with established commercial links with the emirate state.
"There are very few direct flights from Djibouti to Dubai, so we anticipate strong demand for the flydubai service from both the business and leisure markets," he said.
One way tickets are expected to cost from AED 650. This price includes all taxes and one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 10 kg.
Flydubai also provide routes to Aleppo, Alexandria, Damascus, Amman and Beirut.
