Dubai to host commercial vehicle industry event
The commercial property market may already be well established in the UAE, but the region also looks set to become a hub for the global auto industry.
Next March, Dubai will play host to the region's first trade event focused on commercial vehicles, with strong backing from the automotive sector.
Taking place from March 9th to 11th, Commercial Vehicles Middle East will be attended by a host of major manufacturers, including Temsa, Hino and BMC.
Nick Webb, director of Streamline Marketing Group - which organises the event - said the forum will help deliver more growth for an already thriving industry in the region.
"The global automotive industry has had a difficult year, but demand for vehicles in the Gulf Cooperation Council remains strong," he claimed.
Officials expect the event to attract some 8,000 visitors, with around 100 manufacturers set to showcase their products and services.
The commercial vehicle sector is not the only burgeoning industry in the United Arab Emirates, with next year's Dubai Boat Show also likely to draw the crowds.
