Key structured programmes are being put in place to help make one of the emirates a world-class financial centre, it has been reported.

An organisation is providing a professional development course – something those with a business mind who are looking for apartments for sale in Dubai might be interested in studying.

The Behavioural Finance programme will be taught at the British University in Dubai (BUid) and is being supported by the Dubai Financial Services Authority.

Vice-chancellor of the university Abdullah Alshamsi said the institute's students have great potential and should be encouraged to focus on certain areas.

"It is important that the country's future decision makers be able to apply the needed skills to develop the UAE's position as a leading financial hub," he stated.

The course offers pupils the chance to find out about decision theory, contagious behaviour and efficient market hypothesis.

As part of the professional development at the university, there is an option of studying a masters in a particular area of interest as a continued professional development.

BUiD was set up in order to try and deliver "first-class" education in Dubai.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19316369-ADNFCR
