Consumers in the Middle East spend around AED272 billion on health and wellness products every year, the organiser of the Wellness and Spas Middle East conference has claimed.
The event, which will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 7th to June 9th, will offer Emiratis the opportunity to witness the very latest developments in the health and wellbeing market.
Among the exhibitors will be Technogym Emirates, Gammaco and Berrywell, as well as major firms from Denmark, France, Ukraine and Slovenia.
The organisers state that the industry is expected to grow considerably and will double in size within the next two years.
"In the UAE, there has been an increase of seven per cent in the number of people registering in gyms for physical fitness training," the company added.
Earlier this week, the Brazilian Association of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Industry also reported that there has been marked growth in the cosmetics export industry in recent months, with the Middle East showing particular interest.
