Land transactions in Dubai hit AED2.19 billion last week, the latest figures from the Land Department show.
The organisation reports that sales constituted AED1.27 billion, while the total value of mortgages for property for sale in Dubai stood at AED919.29 million.
During the week, the most valuable sale was a plot on Sheikh Zayed Road which sold for AED124 million.
Rounding out the top three biggest sales were two plots in Jabal Ali which went for AED34.1 million and AED28.8 million respectively.
"The Ranches area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 21 transactions. Emirates Hills Third followed it with 17 sales," the Land Department confirmed.
In total, 81 plots were sold during the course of the week.
In the first week of the month, 52 transactions were completed, with a total value of AED1.82 billion, of which sales exceeded AED1.2 billion.
The Emirates Hills Third area was the most active, with ten transactions completed.
