Transactions on property for sale in Dubai hit AED1.37 billion last week, the latest figures from the Dubai Land Department show.
According to the group, sales during the seven-day period exceeded AED988.15 million, while mortgages taken out on Dubai property for sale totalled AED383.09 million.
The department continued: "A total of 65 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Emirates Hills Third that was sold for AED30 million."
The second and third most valuable plots were located in Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Industrial City First, with the two sites going for AED17.5 million and AED17.22 million respectively.
Palm Jumeirah recorded the highest turnover by value during the period and was also the most active area with a total of 12 transactions carried out.
On Monday, land sales hit AED221.64 million, with mortgages bringing total transactions to AED329.99 million.
