Development of Dubailand is continuing in line with long-term objectives, the project's chief executive has confirmed.
In an emailed statement to Emirates Business, Mohammed Al Habbai said that all 45 mega projects in the pipeline are still on track for staged development, with the entire site due to be completed in 2020.
"Phase one is already open and operational and we project eight million visits to our attractions this year," he added.
Dubai Sports City, part of Dubailand, recently caught the attention of the cricketing world with the grand opening of the Dubai Cricket Stadium.
