Dubai property touted for growth at Cityscape Connect

A panel of experts has concluded that the Dubai property market will be set for steady growth in the second half of the year.

Speaking at the Cityscape Connect business breakfast, UAE real estate specialists including the chief executive of Dubai-based property agency Asteco Elaine Jones and Steven Henderson, partner in legal firm Clifford Chance, concurred that the prospects for strong growth were becoming evident.

"Industry sentiment has moved into positive territory and it is equally important that Cityscape through the Connect series of events continues to provide a platform for open debate," said Rohan Marwaha, managing director of the company.

Cityscape is a non-profit initiative that has already become a successful contributor to the property markets in some of the world's landmark cities, including Singapore, New York, Mumbai and Moscow, as well as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

At a previous business breakfast in March, panellists concluded that the Dubai property could outstrip the rapid growth seen in recent years when demand picks up once more.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19201116-ADNFCR
