The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) turned heads at this year's Asia Luxury Travel Market.
Held in Shanghai from June 15th to 18th, the event attracted representatives from the world's leading luxury travel destinations, with the DTCM taking a 138-square-metre plot at the show.
The stand was shared with 24 co-participants representing the Dubai tourism industry, with some of the emirate's leading hotel chains and tour operators in attendance.
The Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department was also present, offering practical advice to those considering investing in property for sale in Dubai.
Saleh Al Geziry, DTCM director of overseas promotions, who led the delegation, said that department had been able to increase participation since the debut show in 2007 as a result of continued promotion of the emirate as a leading destination for Asian luxury travellers.
As part of its summer promotional drive, the DTCM has recently announced the Kids Go Free promotion, which offers free accommodation for young people travelling with two adults.
