BMW pledged to continue to uphold the highest standards in sustainable motoring as World Environment Day got underway earlier today (June 5th).
The company claimed that it is already the most sustainable car maker in the world today and vowed to maintain this position by balancing the demands of its individual customers with the need to ensure ecological stability.
For the fourth year running, BMW has been named as the most sustainable company in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, news which may be of interest to those with property in Dubai looking for an eco-friendly addition to their garage.
"At BMW Group we believe that mobility and sustainability are inseparably linked and we are constantly working to reduce our impact on the environment while offering our customers the best in mobility," said Phil Horton, managing director of the firm's Middle Eastern operations.
The company has recently launched the new BMW Z4 roadster in Dubai after unveiling it at the Detroit Motor Show earlier in the year.
