Land transactions carried out this week hit AED1.52 billion, the latest figures from the Land Department show.
According to the organisation, which governs the sale of property for sale in Dubai, the total value of mortgages agreed over the course of the week was AED386.36 million, while sales accounted for AED1.12 billion of the total transaction value.
The group added: "A total of 61 sale transactions were registered with the department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Trade Center Second that was sold for AED220.96 million."
In second and third place were plots on Shaikh Zayed Road and in Shaikh Zayed Road, which went for AED72.99 million and AED27.11 million respectively.
Meanwhile, in terms of activity, the Emirates Hills Second area was found to have recorded the highest number of sales, with 22 transactions carried out, while Emirates Hill Third followed with seven transactions.
Earlier this week, the Land Department announced that on May 19th, land transactions peaked at AED217.9 million.
