Imdaad has teamed up with Dubai Municipality to improve waste management and recycling facilities in the emirate.
In news that will likely be welcomed by those with property in Dubai, the two dep
artments have agreed to share their expertise to ensure the highest possible levels of service for residents in the emirate.
Under the terms of the new agreement, both parties will focus on five areas of cooperation, including the creation of a unified structure to handle waste management in Dubai, as well as integrating work procedures and specialties between the two departments.
"It is necessary to make use of waste and recycle it, by doing that, we serve both the community and the economy," commented Ahmed Butti Ahmed, chief executive of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, of which Imdaad is a member.
The authority has also recently been sharing its expertise with a high level delegation of public officials from Abu Dhabi which visited Dubai Customs earlier this week.
