The eagerly awaited Dubai World Central (DWC) project will launch its first flagship development in June 2010, when the Al Maktoum International Airport will open to the public for the first time.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, confirmed the opening date ahead of the Airport Show 2009, which is being held from today (May 19th) until May 21st.
"Our vision for Dubai is to be an unparalleled global commercial, trade and transportation hub with an integrated multi-modal logistics platform in DWC," he commented.
