Cunard's luxurious cruise liner the Queen Victoria has docked at Dubai's Port Rashid as it continues its global showcase.
The liner was launched from Southampton in 2007 and has been travelling the world, stopping in Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan, to give travel operators a one of a kind glimpse at the luxury liner.
As it moves closer to the final stop of the tour in Singapore, the liner has docked in Dubai to allow travel agents to sell a Cunard cruise to Emiratis with a first-hand understanding of the kind of service that can be expected.
Embarking on a Cunard cruise may well be of interest to those who have brought property in Dubai and are looking for the same kind of luxury offered by the emirate when planning their holidays.
As the Queen Victoria came into harbour, Ashok Kumar, of Cruise Master Middle East, commented: "We are delighted with this opportunity to showcase Queen Victoria to the travel trade. We are sure this visit gave them a first-hand feel of the ship."
The announcement of the order of the Queen Victoria was made on December 5th 2004.
