A second daily flight between Dubai and Mumbai has been announced by Jet Airways.
The carrier revealed that it is increasing its service on the route from April 23rd, a move that could give those planning to buy property in Dubai more opportunities for travelling.
A dual-class Boeing 737-800 will be used, offering travellers personalised in-flight entertainment.
Senior general manager of the airline Abraham Joseph explained: "In view of the current economic situation, Jet Airways always has and will remain committed to this region by offering our customers a wider choice of destinations and convenient timings."
The additional flight is set to depart from Dubai at 12:35 local time, complementing the existing service that leaves in the evening and arrives in Mumbai the following morning.
Jet Airways began operations in 1993 and is currently responsible for 370 daily flights to a total of 18 destinations around the world.
