The UAE is awash with excitement as citizens grow eager in anticipation of the first international cricket match to be held in the country.
It is now less than three weeks until cricketing giants Australia and Pakistan clash in a Series to be played in Dubai Sports City.
Crowds are expected to flock to the 25,000-capacity Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium when it opens for the first match of the Series on April 22nd.
Those who are planning on investing in property for sale in Dubai may well be swayed by the opening of the new stadium, which is set to establish the emirate as a major destination for world-class cricket.
"This tournament will re-enforce the point that ... the fantastic stadium at Dubai Sports City [is] becoming a reality," the organisers state.
Although tickets are already selling out fast, the news that Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar, arguably their most explosive player, has been selected for the Series is likely to bring a further boost to sales.
