The first Child Care Centre for working mothers has been opened at Dubai Customs by Shaikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wife of Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, minister of presidential affairs and president of Dubai Women Establishment.
Parents in Dubai will be able to use the new nursery to provide their children with safe, fun educational facilities while they are at work, with Shaikha Manal praising the UAE authorities for their commitment securing the rights of women in family and society.
"Women are key partners in sustainable development receiving support and recognition from our wise leadership, [helping women to achieve] a high profile position with a prominent role in all local, regional and international events," she told attendees at the opening ceremony.
The new facilities may well be of use to families who have recently brought property for sale in Dubai.
Dubai Customs has also recently demonstrated its commitment to securing a top flight education for young Emiratis with its participation in the Willington University Career Fair last month.
