BMW has once again been hailed as a premier automotive design specialist at the red dot design awards.
The German auto group scooped no fewer than seven awards this year, with the judges lauding their delicate balance of style, functionality and driving dynamics.
The BMW 7 Series and the soon-to-be-released Z4 received particularly lavish praise, with the latter extolled for its reinvention of classic roadster design principles such as the elongated bonnet and a seat position that rests above the rear axle of the car.
BMW expects that the car will become a particularly hot seller in the Middle East when it is released in May.
The sporty model may prove a perfect addition to the garage for those who have recently purchased property in Dubai.
BMW will proudly collect its awards at a ceremony to be held at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany in June.
Each year, more than 11,000 products are submitted to the red dot judging panel, with the winners taking their place in the red dot design museum.
