The total value of land transactions completed hit AED325.28 million today (March 18th), mid-week figures from the Land Department show.
Sales of Dubai property constituted AED164.37 million of this figure, while mortgages arranged on property for sale in Dubai accounted for the remaining AED160.9 million.
The most actively traded areas today were the Emirates Hills Third and Ranches developments, which both attracted two buyers.
Meanwhile, the largest plot sold was in the Al Ruwayyah area, where a sale covering 64791 sq ft was made.
Al Ruwayyah also clinched the highest turnover by value, with AED31.1 million worth of Dubai property for sale exchanging hands.
"During the period under review eight mortgages worth AED122.55 million were registered, the most significant of which was the AED.86 million for an area at Festival City Second," the Land Department added.
On Monday (March 16th), the total value of land transactions in Dubai hit AED287.05 million, with sales exceeding AED158.75 million.
