Total land transactions in Dubai reached AED 1.66 billion last week, the Land Department's latest figures show.
Of this, sales on Dubai property for sale exceeded 684.66 million, with the most valuable plot sold this week located in Mankhool, which went for AED75 million. Dubai Sport City also saw a particularly high trade, with a plot in the luxury development going for AED20.81 million.
Jebel Ali was home to the third most valuable transaction, with a property for sale there changing hands for AED18.09 million.
Meanwhile, taking the largest share of the 47 sales brokered over the course of the week was the Emirates Hills-3 area, where 11 transactions took place. Arabian Ranches was close behind with ten sales.
"During the period under review 53 mortgages worth AED832.16 million were registered, the most significant of which was the AED260 million for an area at Trade Centre-1," the Land Dept added.
On Wednesday of this week (March 11th), the total value of transactions reached AED132.89 million.
