Dubai Municipality has outlined plans to create two new suburbs to meet the burgeoning demand for property for sale in Dubai, Emirates Business reports.
Speaking to the news agency, the director general of the organisation Hussain Nasser Lootah said that the new Dubai property developments will help to meet the housing needs of Emiratis up to 2015.
"The main thing we have taken into consideration is to make sure the suburbs provide privacy for national families. Large parts of the suburbs will be reserved for future homes for nationals," he explained.
All new homes will also be fitted with the latest amenities and facilities, with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority scheduled to carry out all necessary infrastructural work to deliver the new accommodation.
Dubai Municipality has also recently briefed high-level representatives from Ras Al-Khaimah on its many achievements in recent years, helping the northern emirate in its missions of establishing itself as a major industry, education and trade hub.
