Burjuman has completed work on a new AED18 million retail and restaurant space that is expected to attract a host of big name stores and restaurants in the coming months.
In news that may interest those who have recently brought property in Dubai, the new extension will provide a wider range of services to residents, with a Unicare medical centre one of the first stores to be established.
Meanwhile, restaurants such as the Lebanese Fairooziyat will bring a host of fine culinary delights to the mall.
"This expansion is part of a long-term vision and commitment by BurJuman to consistently enhance its shopping offer," said Eisa Adam Ibrahim, general manager of BurJuman.
The new extension will also provide direct access to the Dubai Metro station to make life easier for tourists and those who have brought property in Dubai.
Last month, BurJuman celebrated the end of the Dubai Shopping Festival with an exclusive collection of clothes and accessories from acclaimed designer Nikolas Fric.
