The Hotel InterContinental Dubai Festival City has proudly unveiled the introduction of two Lexus LS600hL chauffer-driven hybrid vehicles to its fleet.
Following negotiations with Al-Futtaim Motors, the group has become the first hotelier in the emirate to use the hybrid vehicles, allowing it to pave the way in luxury green motoring.
Visitors looking for property for sale in Dubai may wish to keep their carbon footprint down by house-hunting in one of the new LS600hLs.
"The hybrid cars, which are both energy efficient and comfortable for hotel guests, are another step in the right direction to change the way that personal responsibility for climate change is viewed," commented InterContinental's hotel manager Steven Greenwood.
He added that the hotelier is greatful for the cooperation of A-Futtaim in sending out the right message about reducing carbon emissions.
In other news that may be of interest to residents looking for a car while buying in Dubai, the Road and Transports Authority is in the final stages of testing of a new range of hybrid cars from Toyota.
