ICC Global Cricket Academy coaches get to work
The two new head coaches at the International Cricket Council (ICC) Global Cricket Academy in Dubai Sports City have taken up their posts and have started to develop accredited courses to nurture regional talent.

Dayle Hadlee and Mudassar Nazar, both of whom are former Test cricketers and world-class coaches, have joined forces with director of coaching Rod Marsh to help improve the game both within the UAE and among the additional 103 members of the ICC.

"Twenty:20 cricket is booming and the ICC Global Cricket Academy is ideally placed to support all forms of the game and global development," said Mr Marsh.

Meanwhile, Mr Hadlee said that the academy is a one of a kind resource that will be of benefit to everyone involved in the sport.

He added that the experience and expertise of the academy staff will help to deliver an innovative world-class course programme to promote the sport in the UAE.

Earlier this month, Jeff O'Brien, Dubai Sports City Academies manager, announced that top sports teams from across the globe are already making plans to utilise the world-class training facilities on offer at the complex.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19027869-ADNFCR
