Hotel occupancies up during DSF

As the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) gets into full swing, hotels in the emirate have seen a sharp upturn in room occupancy rates.

Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing has reported that many prestigious hotels have witnessed a dramatic influx of visitors as consumers flock to the world-renowned festival.

"Quite a few of our guests ask for transportation to the most happening malls in Dubai and our team here makes sure to inform them about DSF and its diversified calendar of events," said Anke Glaessing, executive assistant manager of Al Murooj Rotana Hotel and Suites.

And with room discounts of 60 per cent and a fifth off the bill in their restaurants, she added that she is confident that customers will keep flowing through the doors.

Such news may be of interest to those who are heading to the DSF or are in the area looking for Dubai property for sale.
