Focused on achieving global social and economic success and development, the GEF is to be held in the emirate for the second year in a row, highlighting Dubai's role as a regional and global hub of educational excellence.
"Progress in education should coincide with the evident progress already made on the economic and social fields," said Dr Hanif Hassan, minister of education.
He added that sponsoring the event will help Dubai to support investment in human capital and strengthen its position as a knowledge-based economy.
More than 200 international companies involved in educational development are expected to attend the event, in addition to educational ministers from across the region.
Last year, more than 4,000 people attended the forum.
