The consumer electronics retail market is likely to grow to more than $40 billion in 2009, a new study has found.
According to the GfK group, sales of consumer gadgets and electronics will be driven by largely sales of LCD TVs and plasma sets, which have already led to a sharp increase in the total sales revenues in the sector.
Following the results of the study, high-end UAE retailer Better Life has announced that it will be stocking a range of premium televisions and other electronics products from Grundig.
Ajai Kumar Dayal, general manager of retail and marketing at the company said that Grundig has long been at the forefront of technological innovation.
"It was the first company to develop the 100 hz techonolgy for television and continues to innovate. The latest range features superior imaging with forward technology pictures and Grundig's legendary sound," he commented.
Better Life has also recently been showcasing a host of "once-in-a-lifetime" deals on its high end appliances in support of the Dubai Shopping Festival.
