The coming year will offer sizable opportunities for Dubai Maritime City (DMC) as it attempts to consolidate its position in the niche Middle Eastern sea trade market, AMEInfo has claimed.
With 85 per cent of construction work completed on the Industrial Precinct, the development is set to become fully operational ahead of schedule, while the Commercial Precinct is also running on time.
Commenting on the development, Khaled Meftah, director of property at Dubai Maritime City, said: "With the infrastructure work in the Commercial Precinct currently in the final stages of completion, several real estate developers are starting to mobilise on some plots."
In addition to the Commercial and Industrial Precincts, the development will also house the Academic Quarter, the Marina District, the Harbour Residences and the Harbour Offices.
Such news may be of interest to those considering investing in property in the UAE in the future.
The Harbour Residences will provide premier accommodation options in a central location which is well linked to the commercial area of the development.
